QE study session and wiki population

The lounge will be open for studying for the qualifying exam and populating the QE wiki. Please come help even if you have already taken the exam. Hope to see you all there!
The HKN Design Contest will be taking place this Saturday, April 26th at 1PM in EE 161. We will be testing competitor's circuits to see who can make the largest voltage from a 9V 50mA source. The winner gets a $3000 scholarship!

Actives Meeting tomorrow (with officer nominations while supplies last!)
To all of our newly inducted members, congratulations and welcome to Beta Chapter. Continue your celebrations by coming to your first active's meeting Monday 04/14/08 at 6 PM in EE 170. The main focus of the meeting will be new officer nominations.
On Saturday, April 12, Beta Chapter defeated Alpha Chapter in flag football by a score of 12-6. The game was sloppy on both sides of the ball as the game was played in 40F temperatures and both rain and sleet.

Trophy Returns to HKN
HKN beat IEEE in flag football 19-7 at this weekend's picnic to reclaim the Electric Bowl title and its famed trophy. HKN recovered from its defeat in last year's game to bring their record to 4-1 since the Electric Bowl's inception in 2003. Congratulations!

ELECTIONS!
That's right! Tonight's meeting (there's a meeting tonight) will be the semester election meeting. If you don't go, you'll be assigned to the 6:30 POD...exactly.
We'll be featuring a Wiki card game called 1000 white cards!
(starting) Rules of the game: 1) The cards can re-define the rules 2) When everyone is out of cards, and no more cards can be drawn, the game ends. Whomever has the most "points" wins!
What happens during play is defined by the cards people create. Speaking of which, there is a stack of white cards in the HKN lounge that need filled out. Please come on down anytime today, and fill out a few cards.

Spring Picnic
The spring picnic will be held at Happy Hollow Park, shelter 4, on Saturday the 31st of March from 11am-4pm. Show up and watch HKN dominate IEEE in flag football. And of course food will be provided.
This week we will be bowling with some of the future grad students at Star Lanes. It starts at 10pm and will end at midnight (if anyone want's to continue on till 1am, that can be arranged).
